ABOUT ME
Numbers are the key to evolving the relationship between teams and their fans. My professional focus is on obtaining the complex, in-depth stats that sports have to offer, and finding ways to make them interesting and relevant to the average fan.
I have worked for multiple teams in a journalistic capacity in both collegiate and professional sports. I am well-versed and experienced in sports statistics, public relations, broadcasting and communications having worked as a Communications Coordinator, color and play-by-play commentator, podcast host and multiple stats and public relations internships. I am trained in the statistical programs NCAA LiveStats, Trackman Baseball, R, MiniTab and Python, as well as all Sports Reference websites and the Microsoft and Adobe suites.
I received my bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University in Journalism (Public Relations) with minors in Statistics and Honors Studies in spring of 2022 and I am currently employed with the Detroit Pistons. I invite you to scroll through my digital portfolio, and I encourage you to contact me and put me to work.

STATISTICS AND ANALYTICS
I have held positions working with statistics for Western Washington University Athletics in basketball, soccer, and softball, and with the Bellingham Bells summer league baseball team as the Trackman operator and Baseball Statistics Inern. I have experience both as a statistician taking the stats, and as a media consultant, utilizing the numbers for written and broadcasted work.

I have also created, written, and produced multiple seasons of a statistics-based podcast called Trade Bait where I presented new metrics and statistical projects I created.

PRINT AND BROADCAST JOURNALISM
Aside from putting together PR materials for clients and teams, I have extensive training in classic sports journalism.

I wrote daily game notes and recaps in my positions with the Amarillo Sod Poodles and the Bellingham Bells, and I have six years of experience writing for publications with local sports.

I also have five years of experience as a color and play-by-play commentator for Western Washington University's men's and women's basketball, volleyball and softball.
