PRINT &Â BROADCAST JOURNALISM
Sports Media Professional
In addition to putting together PR materials for clients and teams, I have extensive training in classic sports journalism.

During my time as the Communications Coordinator for the Amarillo Sod Poodles and as the Communications Intern for the Bellingham Bells, I wrote daily game notes and recaps that were published on the website while also serving as an assistant to the broadcast team.

For WWU Athletics, I have experience working as a color commentator for men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, and play-by-play for women's softball.

While in college, I wrote on the sports beat for Western's newspaper, the Western Front, publishing ten stories in AP style, and stuck to a one-story-per-week deadline.

Take a look at my journalistic profile below, in both print and broadcast forms.
